Spend and Save Program FAQ
How does the Spend and Save Program work?
At the end of each business day, the amount of each qualifying goods and services transaction will be rounded up to the next whole dollar. The total will then be transferred from your GLCU checking account to your designated GLCU savings account as a single transaction.
Can you give me an example of how the Spend and Save Program works?
Let's say you fill up your gas tank for $34.49. A transaction of $34.49 will post to your account. At the end of the day, the roundup amount of $0.51 will be deducted from your GLCU checking account as a separate transaction and transferred to your designated GLCU savings account.
What transactions qualify?
Debit card transactions, Bill Pay, and checks all help you grow your savings in the Spend and Save Program.
Can I access my savings at any time?
Yes, you can conveniently withdraw funds whenever you need them without a penalty or fee.
Can I use the Spend and Save Program with online purchases?
